Dec. 28 (Bloomberg) — Robert Shiller, an economics professor at Yale University and co-creator of the S&P/Case-Shiller index of property values, talks about the decline in home prices in October.
The index fell 0.8 percent from October 2009, the biggest year-over-year decline since December 2009. Shiller speaks with Peter Cook on Bloomberg Television’s “Fast Forward.” (Source: Bloomberg)

depends on your time frame and interest rates available. You can not preach higher rates and inflation while believing you should hold off buying. The two lines will intersect where it makes sense to buy, as the price drop will be insignificant to the amount of money spent over 30 years.

Put unbreakable lower caps on plot/lot prices, as well as a 8% cap on what a contractor can “Markup” a unit upon completion after they’ve payed for materials and all the labor an honorable living Union wage.
THEN you will see just how contrived and $high$ the price of housing was. And yes, it will continue to fall in price so long as there’s massive empty units, period.
The “free market” era was a bully gorilla that made Jews wealthy is all it was, and can’t be trusted again.
